Nick Heywood-Smith / Wellness & Lifestyles Australia Young category / Central region By providing mobile allied health services to the aged care industry using an outsourced model, Nick Heywood-Smith has built a soon-to-be national business with the potential to grow to $20 million in the next fve years. James Spenceley / Vocus Communications Young category / Eastern region James Spenceley sold his family home to fund a wholesale telecoms start-up business. Less than three years later, Vocus Communications owns and operates global voice and data networks to rival many larger competitors. The business has a turnover of $16 million and EBITDA of 46%. Andrew Thomas / Thomas Duryea Consulting Young category / Southern region Andrew Thomas left university just one semester shy of completing a double degree, to build an ethical IT services company. Today, Thomas Duryea Consulting is the fastest growing IT infrastructure services company in the history of the BRW Fa st 100 list.
